X'MAS CELEBRATION

REALLY BUSY FROM X'MAS EVE TILL TODAY. TOMORROW WILL BE NEW YEARS' EVE. TIME FLIES REALLY FAST.

ON X'MAS EVE, I TOOK LEAVE AND SPEND THE WHOLE MORNING AND AFTERNOON BAKING SWISS ROLL CAKE WHICH LATER I MADE A LOG CAKE. I ALSO MADE MANGO PUDDING, PANDAN CAKE, BREAD PUDDING, POTATO AND EGG SALAD.

JAC DID SUSHI AND NANTUN WENT OVER TO HER PLACE AND COOKED MIFEN. SYL DID ROASTED CHICKEN AND YH'S MUM ORDERED PIZZA.

RECENTLY, I'LL BE VERY ACTIVE IN BAKING. AFTER I HAVE DID THE BREAD BUN ON X'MAS DAY, AND ALSO AFTER READING ON HOW GOOD A BREAD MAKER IS, I FINALLY DECIDED TO BUY ONE TOO. SATURDAY AFTER MY WORK, I WENT TO CARREFOUR AND BOUGHT THE BLUESKY BREAD MAKER. I WAS LUCKY. IT'S COST ONLY $59.90 COS IT'S ON SALES UNTIL 31 DEC 2008 WHICH IS TOMORROW. OTHERWISE THE ORIGINAL SELLING PRICE IS ABOUT $127. THE BREAD MAKER IS ABOUT THE SIZE OF A RICE COOKER, SO IT'S VERY EASY TO KEEP TOO.

YESTERDAY NIGHT, I TRIED MY 1ST BREAD LOAF USING THE BREAD MAKER. THE WHOLE PROCESS IS 2:50 HRS. XRYSTAL WAS ALSO EXCITED ABOUT THE BREAD AND KEPT ASKING ME ON WHEN THE BREAD WILL BE READY. I KEPT REPLYING HER "WHEN YOU HEAR BEEP BEEP BEEP, THE BREAD WILL BE READY." AND WHEN THE BEEPING SOUND CAME OUT, SHE WAS REALLY DAMN HAPPY AND EXCITED.





I'LL TRY MORE BREAD BAKING THIS WEEKEND.

X'MAS MOOD COMING

TODAY, I BAKED TWO KIND OF COOKIES.

1) THE HORLICK DOGGIES COOKIES


2) THE BUTTER COOKIES WHICH I USED THE MICKEY AND MINNIE MOUSE CUTTER TO CUT THE SHAPE.


TODAY, MY SISTER IN-LAW ALSO CAME OVER IN THE MORNING AND MAKE SOME TANG YUAN. TOMORROW IS "TONG ZHI" SO MUST EAT TANG YUAN. IN CHINESE'S BELIEVE, AFTER EATING TANG YUAN DURING THE TONG ZHI, WE WILL GROW OLDER ANOTHER YEAR. WHICH MEAN I WILL BE 33 YRS OLD (IN CHINESE).

IN THE AFTERNOON, WE WENT OVER TO WENDY'S (CHRIS'S SISTER) HOUSE. MY SISTER IN-LAW HAD ASKED US TO JOIN THEM IN THE X'MAS CELEBRATION WITH CHRIS'S FAMILY. WE WENT SWIMMING TILL 5PLUS AND HAD THE DINNER AT THE BBQ AREA. WENDY IS A GOOD COOK. TODAY SHE COOKED LASAGNA, SPAGHETTI, POTATO SALAD, VEGETABLES DRIP AND BREAD PUDDING (MY FAVOURITE). WE ALSO BROUGHT FOOD OVER. NANTUN COOKED RENDUNG AND MILO PUDDING. MY SISTER IN-LAW BOUGHT HAMS AND LOGCAKES.

EVERYONE REALLY HAD A FULL DINNER TONIGHT. TOO BAD THAT BEN CANNOT JOIN US FOR THE DINNER COS THESE FEW DAYS HE HAD BEEN WORKING DAMN LATE ABOUT 10PLUS. AND HE JUST COME HOME NOW WHICH THE CLOCK SHOWS 11.45PM.

POOR BEN. TOMORROW HE STILL HAVE TO WORK.

Chinese Lunar New Year

Today is the 5th day of CNY. Many people had started working. Today, I took leave to go to banks and bring Xander's urine for examination.

Had been very busy since the last entry of this blog.

We had reunion dinner with my daddy and mummy on the 2nd February 2008.

Before that, went to Northpoint to shop. This year Northpoint decor the place with Mickey and Minnie Mouse. The kids like the decor very much. I took some photos of them and the decors.









In the evening, we had streamboat for dinner.





On the eve of Chinese New Year, we also had streamboat together with Grace, Chris and Ben's father. Too bad, no photographs taking.

On the 1st day of CNY, we took our 1st family photographs. Ben say from this year onward, we will take family photos every Chinese New Year.











On 2nd day of CNY, we went to my mum's place. I always like to go back for lunch during CNY cos she always cooks lot of my favourites.

Yi Ma's Birthday Celebration

Yi Ma, my MIL's sister from Australia, came back to Singaproe this holiday. She celbrated her 60th Brithday on 23 December 2007 at "Ah Yat" Seafood at Turf City.

Her daughter, Cousin May had reserved a room with 4 tablle. 10 course meal. That's why the relatives from Malaysia also came to celebrate her birthday.

Relatives From The Country M

On 21 December 2007, we have visitor from Malaysia. They are my MIL's elder brother with wife, the uncle's elder son and wife, younger son and the grandson.

On 22 December 2007 which was also "Dong Zi", was also the little grandson Kang Wen's birthday. He is one year elder than Xrystal, so he is 6 years old.

11112007 It's A Good Day For Wedding

On 11 November 2007, is my sister Jacqueline's customary wedding. We stayed overnight at my Mum's place on Saturday.

Before going to my Mum's place, I brought the kids to Amy's house.

On 10 November 2007 is her son's 1st month. Too bad, did not take any pix of her son.

My brother had warned me about sleeping in his room. We dun understand what he meant initially, but the next morning, damn...

It's the bus stopping and the birds singing made us difficult to sleep.

I woke up at 4.30am together with the rest...
